About me

My very literal, seemingly random and probably largely inaccurate translations of things.

I am a Canadian ~~goat~~ expat based in Osaka, Japan, teaching English while learning Japanese. (Japanese-through-osmosis is not a recommended method, by the way.) I tend to pick up a lot even though I haven't formally studied the language in years, and having successfully passed level 3 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (somehow) and am moving on to 2kyuu. This blog is a base for my weekly translation attempts (aka the "fun stuff") while I procastinate memorizing kanji for the test. There will be plenty of mistakes, so try not to get up in arms. :)
